It's Friday the 13th! Must be Some GREAT Horror Movies Out Today

 So it's another Friday the 13th!!! And since great horror movies are always released on Friday the 13th, the studios today are releasing...2012??? Exciting, maybe...horrifying (other than the cost), maybe not. I think getting the horror movies out before Halloween made today kind of quiet on the new horror front...however, I feel RIPPED OFF...Just like Sally in "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"...I demand restitution!!!This February, the studios released the "Friday the 13th" remake on the 13th, and in March, the remade "Last House on the Left" was released on the 13th, so I KNOW the studios are 'sort of' on the ball with Friday the 13th & horror. I'm surprised that there wasn't another remake in the can that could be released today...come on..."I Dismember Mama" SCREAMS for a remake!!! And if the studios need some publicity help, I've got some neat poster ideas for that one... Of course, there are some good horror flicks at the theaters, (like Paranormal Activity), but true horror fans need something NEW for Friday the 13th!!! It's like a little bit of Halloween that happens a couple of times a year, and we need our fix!!! DOESN'T TRADITION MEAN ANYTHING ANY MORE??? So, I guess I'll be crawling through my DVD pile tonight for some good family viewing at home, like "Suspiria" or "Vampire Playgirls". It's not the same as sharing the experience with hundreds of other people in a theater, but my 11 year old is a lot of fun to watch when the gore gets rolling. Entertainment is where you find it. Maybe there will be a remake of "Saturday the 14th" released tomorrow? MORE Horror NEWS
