Them Crooked Vultures - New Album Out Now!

Dave Grohl's new music project "Them Crooked Vultures" have released their first album today. The drummer for Nirvana, turned Foo Fighters guitarist / front-man is back on the drums and vocals behind a rather super group of fellas. Filling out the trio is Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme on lead vocals and guitars and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones on bass, keyboard, piano, keytar, slide guitar, mandolin, vocals.
 left to right: Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, John Paul Jones Their music has got a tight edgy sound. Opening with a vocal that has a tinge of Robert Plant in it. That gives way to a hard driving fusion of rock and roll that oscillates between psychedelic and heavy metal. Sounds pretty awesome to me. The CD is out in stores and online now.
