Adult Swim Posts Its Best-Ever Weekly Total Day Delivery Among Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34

Following back-to-back months of record-setting total day delivery of young adults, Adult Swim charted its best-ever weekly total day delivery among adults 18-34 and women 18-34, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, Adult Swim ranked #1 among targeted male demos and ranked #2 for total day delivery of adults 18-49. The late-night network scored powerful double-digit growth across the board, out-delivering all other ad-supported basic cable networks for total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34, men 18-24 (101 straight weeks).
Highlights of Adult Swim’s overall performance vs. the same week in 2006 include the following:
Adult Swin for the Week (Monday-Thursday, Saturday, 10:30 p.m.-6 a.m.; Sunday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.)
Adults 18-34 delivery (499,000) increased by 37% (new network record), and ratings (0.7) by 40%
Adults 18-49 delivery (606,000) advanced by 19%, and ratings (0.5) by 25%
Adults 18-24 delivery (304,000) improved by 46%, and ratings (1.1) by 57%
Women 18-34 delivery (197,000) jumped by 59% (new network record), and ratings (0.6) by 50%
Women 18-24 delivery (109,000) catapulted by 110%, and ratings (0.8) by 100%
Men 18-34 delivery (302,000) expanded by 26%, and ratings (0.9) by 29%
Men 18-24 delivery (195,000) grew by 25%, and ratings (1.4) by 27%
Overall, 15 Adult Swim programs charted among the Top 50 for the week among adults 18-34, more than any other network. Four of the programs—all telecasts of Family Guy—landed among the Top 10.
