Bruce Timm Talks Batman Year One Animated Movie & How It Will Be Faithful To The Original

MTV caught up with producer Bruce Timm a few weeks ago at Wondercon and talked to him about the upcoming Batman Year One Animated movie from Warner Home Entertainment and how it will remain faithful to the original comic book content from DC Comics.
"It is the comic -- literally 95% of the dialogue is pulled straight out of the comic. The visual style is definitely based on the David Mazzucchelli style as close as we can make it. We didn't add any extra scenes to it that weren't in the comic...it is a straight-up adaptation of the comic." Batman: Year One is slated for a late Summer/early Fall 2011 release.
