Sci-Fi Visionary Arthur C. Clarke Dies at 90

According to the AP news, science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke has died in Sri Lanka at the age of 90.

Considered one of the top three Science Fiction writers of all time alongside Issac Asimov and Ray Bradbury. The prolific Clarke is famous for a plethora stories and eventual movies with "2001: A Space Odyssey" standing out as his most memorable and controversial work.

Born in the The UK in 1917. He settled down in Sri Lanka in 1956. He was made a Knight in 1998. A visionary in his own time, he has left a lasting legacy of more than 70 books written / co-written in addition to numerous acedemic and humanitarian achievements.
