Top Gun Director Tony Scott Dies At At 68 After Jumping Off A Bridge (UPDATE)

 UPDATE: ABC News reports that sources close to Scott have told them that he had inoperable brain cancer.CNN reports that director Tony Scott (Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Beverly Hills Cop II) died Sunday after apparently committing suicide by jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California. Scott who was 68 apparently jumped from the bridge at 2:30 p.m.. A passerby who saw Scott jump called 911, according to a statement released by the coroner's office. A suicide note was found in his office later that day. The contents of the note have yet to be revealed at this time. MORE celebrities NEWS
