Batman Lands Buffy The Vampire Slayer?

Former BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER star SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR is set to join the BATMAN BEGINS franchise, according to Internet reports. The actress is reportedly in negotiations to join CHRISTIAN BALE and MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL in BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT. In a posting from an independent filmmaker on website Whedon.info, he writes, "I had been talking back and forth with one of Sarah Michelle Gellar's reps about a role in a new film I start shooting in May. "They expressed a morsel of interest... Unfortunately, yesterday (28MAR07) we were informed that she wouldn't be able to do it; because there might be a clash with Batman." MORE movies NEWS
