Sicko - Advanced Review

When people hear the name Michael Moore they usually lump him into one of two categories: either “genius” or “troublemaking liberal.” I have seen all of Moore’s films, from his debut in “Roger and Me” to his last documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11.” As a young adult whose intending to vote for the first time this year I had to make it a point to see Moore’s latest endeavor about the health care system, “Sicko.” I will try to obtain health insurance for myself and this movie opened my eyes to the way our HMO’s work in the US. In the end I was left mystified and just a tad disturbed. Flat out, if you hate Michael Moore then you’ll probably hate this movie but if you love him, then you might consider “Sicko” one of the best movies of the year.
