Penn, Carrey & Del Toro To Play The Three Stooges?!?

 It is being reported that the Farrelly Brothers are looking at Sean Penn to play Larry, Jim Carrey to play Curly and Benicio Del Toro to play Moe in an upcoming "Three Stooges" movie for MGM.The movie will not be a biopic, but rather a comedy built around the antics of the three characters that Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Howard played in the Columbia Pictures shorts. Production is slated to begin in early fall and expected to be released sometime in 2010. Carrey is expected to gain 40 pounds to approximate the physical dimensions of Jerome "Curly" Howard for this project. Source: Variety MORE movies NEWS
