Max Steel - Taylor Lautner In Talks to Lead Mattel's Toy Based Film

The stars are out tonight for the Twilight actor Taylor Lautner who is said to be in line for next big toy inspired movie Max Steel. The film is based on Mattel's popular action figure and TV series franchise that debuted in 2000.
  Following the success of Transformers, Hollywood is mining our childhood to revive and revamp these properties for kids and adults alike. Lautner's chiseled good looks and bulked up frame are a nutural fit for the Max Steel character who is 19 year old Josh McGrath. A fictional extreme sports teen star who's guardian, Jefferson Smith, works in an extreme sports company that is a cover for the secret counter-intelligence agency known as N-Tek. No doubt, Taylor is a box office draw just for his good looks. The studio's are not taking any chances. Combining hot properties with super hot young stars worked so well for Transformers' and Mega Fox. There's little doubt anyone's going to mess with success and we're likely to see more of these dynamic duos coming our way as Hollywood gets the formula down.
