Henry Selick To Helm Gaiman's 'The Graveyard Book' For Disney
Reported by Outsiders - 02:03 PM 2012.04.29

Deadline is reporting that Disney just made a high six-figure deal for The Graveyard Book, the bestselling children’s title by Neil Gaiman and have attached Henry Selick to direct. Selick directed Gaiman's Coraline and is working for Disney-based Pixar on a top secret film and will direct The Graveyard Book next.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman which won the Newbery Medal among other awards, is a riff on Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Instead of a boy raised by wolves in the jungle, Gaiman tells the story of the surviving child of a murdered family raised by ghosts in a graveyard.
