Frankenweenie - 2nd Theatrical Trailer

A brand-new trailer has arrived for Tim Burton's upcoming stop-motion animated film "Frankenweenie." Based on one of Burton's early works, the 1984 live-action / black-and-white short film that starred Shelley Duvall and Daniel Stern, this new animated pic pretty much follows the same premise: a young boy named Victor is heartbroken when his dog Sparky is struck and killed by a car. In an attempt to bring his beloved pet back to life, Victor conducts a successful science experiment (similar to James Whale's film version of 'Frankenstein'). As a result, re-animated Spark emerges, only to cause havoc within Victor's suburban community. Frankenweenie stars Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell. Release: October 5, 2012
