Talking Bears Rule At The Box Office This Weekend

Mark Wahlberg and Seth McFarlane's new comedy about a live talking teddy bear opened at number 1 this weekend with an estimated take of $54.1 million while the new Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey comedy drama "Magic Mike" took the number 2 spot in it's opening weekend with an estimated take of $39.1.

Last weekends winner "Brave" dropped down to number 3 with an estimated take if $34 million.

"Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection" opened at number 4 with an estimated take of $26.3 while "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" closed out the Top 5 this weekend with an estimated take of $26.3 million

The ten estimated top-producing motion pictures for the weekend, per data collected as of Sunday, July 2, 2012 include:

1. Ted: $54,100,000
2. Magic Mike: $39,155,00
3. Brave: $34,011,00
4. Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection: $26,350,000
5 Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted: $11,815,000
6. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter: $6,000,000
7. Prometheus: $4,925,000
8. Moonrise Kingdom: $4,873,000
9. Snow White and the Huntsman: $4,405,000
10. People Like Us: $4,306,000
