12 Dead, 50 Wounded During A Shooting At A Dark Knight Rises Midnight Screening

Reports are still coming in, but apparently a masked gunman wearing a gas mask busted into a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises and released a gas canister and began opening fire on the crowd. Reports indicate that over 50 people where injured and at least 14 were killed in the shooting. CNN reports that the gunman has been taken into custody.
UPDATE: CNN reports that a swat team is searching the home of suspect in Auroroa, CO mass theater shooting. Colorado movie theater gunman used at least one assault rifle and two handguns. CNN reports the suspect in custody is James Holmes, born Dec 13, 1987. The number of deaths in this shooting have been revised and reduced from 14 to 12. MORE movies NEWS
