Moviegoers rejoice! Your favorite bullwhip-wielding archaeologist is returning to theaters next month. LucasFilm just announced that Steven Spielberg's 1981 classic "Raiders of the Lost Ark" will be re-released for a one-week special engagement on IMAX screens starting from Sept 7 through Sept 13. This is, of course, a week before the much-awaited "Indiana Jones" Blu-Ray collection debuts in stores on Sept 18th. The IMAX release has been digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience(R) with proprietary IMAX DMR(R) (Digital Re-mastering) technology.
