Warner Bros. Rejects King's 'The Dark Tower' Project
Reported by Outsiders - 09:27 PM 2012.08.20

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. has turned down and passed on The Dark Tower, the ambitious multi-platform adaptation of Stephen King’s novel series.

Warner Bros. was supplied with an overhaul script by Akiva Goldsman, Ron Howard directing, Brian Grazer, Goldsman, King producing and Russell Crowe being eyed to play the gunman Roland Deschain. But it was still not enough for Warner Bros. to follow through with the deal. Warner Bros. is the second studio after Universal to turn down the project.
