Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln' - Theatrical Trailer

Check out the debut trailer for Steven Spielberg's highly anticipated historical drama "Lincoln," starring Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis as the titular American President. The film is based on the biographical book by Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin and was adapted by "Angels in America" scribe Tony Kushner, who also wrote Spielberg's 2005 historical thriller "Munich." Featuring a top-notch cast that includes Sally Field (as Lincoln's wife, Mary Todd), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (as Lincoln's first son, Robert Todd), David Strathairn (as Secretary of State William Seward), Tommy Lee Jones (as Thaddeus Stevens), and Jared Harris (as Ulysses S. Grant), the movie depicts the turbulent and final months of Abraham Lincoln's life. Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award(R) winner Daniel Day-Lewis in "Lincoln," a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery.
