Snyder, Spielberg & Tarantino Reject Helming New Star Wars Movie
Reported by Outsiders - 01:00 PM 2012.11.09
Disney may have shot first but it looks like they shot themselves in the foot. Movie directors Zack Snyder, Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino have turned down and rejected the idea of them taking over and helming the next big Star Wars movie."Man Of Steel" director Zack Snyder told the LA Times: "I don’t think I’d be interested in [directing it]." "I’m a huge ‘Star Wars’ fanatic. I just think doing [episodes] seven, eight and nine is just a slippery slope. It’s a whole other mythological experiment I’m excited to see, but it’s a lot of effort." Access Hollywood asked "Lincoln" director Steven Spielberg: "No! No!" "It’s not my genre," the director explained. "It’s my best friend George’s genre." Quentin Tarantino almost took offense when asked by Entertainment Weekly: "I could so care less," he responded. "No, sorry. Especially if Disney’s going to do it. I’m not interested in the Simon West version of Star Wars." MORE movies NEWS |
