'Thundercats' Writer Stephen Perry Suspected Of Being Murdered
Reported by Jay Cochran - 07:40 AM 2010.05.28

AOL is reporting that Stephen J. Perry who is best know for writing episodes of the classic 80's animated series Thundercats was found dead, and foul play is suspected.

"[We are] now investigating the disappearance ... as an apparent homicide," Capt. Rob McKinney of the Zephyrhills Police Department said. "Laboratory results on evidence are still pending at this time."

An investigation began back on May 16, when police found a foul-smelling van that had been parked in a Tampa motel for several days with body parts in it. After further investigation, police discovered this van belonged to Perry, and when they went to his house they discovered that no one was there, and the place had been ransacked. Perry lived with two roomates, James "Jimmy" Davis, 45, and his wife, Roxanne Davis, 49 who were later picked up by police on drug charges and a probation violation.

Though at this time, Davis and his wife have not been charged with any crime linked to Perry's disappearance, police have said they are people of interest in the case.
