Cameron Casts Weaver In His First Film In 10 Years

Director JAMES CAMERON has cast SIGOURNEY WEAVER in new movie AVATAR, his first fictional film since 1997's Oscar-winning blockbuster TITANIC.
The 57-year-old actress, who previously starred in Cameron's 1986 sequel ALIENS, will play a space explorer in the sci-fi epic. Shooting on the movie, which Cameron has also written the screenplay for, is due to begin later this year (07). MORE movies NEWS
