The Lovely Bones Gets Its Victim

The young murder victim in the upcoming adaptation of The Lovely Bones has been cast. The 13-year-old Irish actress Saoirse Ronan will be playing Susie Salmon, the young girl who is murdered and narrates the events of the film. The film, directed by Peter Jackson, is set to shoot in the fall with Ryan Gosling and Rachel Weisz playing Ronan's parents. Ronan will be making film appearences before The Lovely Bones in the Catherine Zeta-Jones film Death Defying Acts and the Michelle Pfeiffer film I Could Never Be Your Woman. MORE movies NEWS
