G.I.Joe: Revenge Of Cobra Movie Site Goes Live

The offical website for Paramount's upcoming G.I.Joe: The Revenge Of Cobra movie has gone live. Well sort of, all that is there now is a placeholder page with the cast and a brief synopsis.
Joe fans will want to bookmark the URL: GIJoeMovie.com, because in the coming days Paramount will be launching it's full-blown movie website with trailers, screens and more. Paramount Pictures and Hasbro, whose previous collaboration was the worldwide blockbuster "TRANSFORMERS," join forces with Spyglass Entertainment for another extraordinary action-adventure "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. JOE team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos. "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." is directed by Stephen Sommers ("The Mummy," "The Mummy Returns"). G.I.Joe is slated to hit theaters on 07/08/09.
