Dark Horse's 'Zombo' Comic Book Series Headed To The Big-Screen

 Dark Horce Comics' title "El Zombo Fantasma" is being slated to get the big-screen treatment according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.Death Ray Films, a production company created by Kevin Munroe, Chris Patton and Robert Sanchez, is joinging forces with Maya Entertainment for this latest comic book to film project. Munroe will both write and direct it, with Patton and Sanchez producing it. Mike Richardson who is from Dark Horse will be the executive producer. Munroe originally created the Zumbo character back in 2005 with David Wilikins when they both worked for a video game company. "El Zombo Fantasma" tells a story of a murdered, temperamental Mexican wrestler who returns from his fiery damnation to play guardian angel to a troubled Los Angeles teenager. Zombo learns the teen is not what she seems and that their fates are intertwined. MORE movies NEWS
