Revenge of the Fallen Sells 7.5 Million DVD Copies In 1st Week of Release

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit the home media circuit on October 20th on DVD and Blu-ray formats and has hit a large milestone already.
According to an analysis from Home Media Magazine, 7.5 million copies were snatched up from retailers in the first week of the film's release on home media. This makes the film the top selling DVD of the year.
1.2 million of those copies were on the Blu-ray format. The film sold two (2) million copies on its first day in stores, 500,000 of them on the high-definition Blu-ray Disc format.
