Jackass Makes An A@# Out Of The Competition At The Box Office

 The new Johnny Knoxville "Jackass 3D" comedy blows the competition away this weekend at the box office opening at #1 with an estimated take of $50 million.The Bruce Willis action comedy "RED" also opened this weekend with a less impressive $22.5 million estimated take which allowed it to grab the #2 spot at the box office. "The Social Network" in its 3rd week dropped from #1 to #3 with an estimated take of $11 million while "Secretariat" raced to number 4 in its second weekend at the box office with an estimated take of $9.5 million. Rounding out the Box Office top 5 is the Katherine Heigl & Josh Duhamel romantic comedy "Life as We Know It," bringing in an estimated take of $9.2 million for its second week. The twelve estimated top-producing motion pictures for the weekend, per data collected as of Sunday, October 17, 2010 include: 1. Jackass 3-D: $50,000,000 2. RED: $22,500,000 3. The Social Network: $11,000,000 4. Secretariat: $9,503,000 5. Life as We Know It: $9,200,000 6. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole: $4,235,000 7. The Town: $4,040,000 8.
