Mary-Louise Parker Joins 'R.I.P.D.'

 Variety is reporting that director Robert Schwentke has selected Mary-Louise Parker to take on the second female role in the movie.Parker will be playing 'Proctor, a woman who has been involved with Jeff Bridges' character "Bo" and who is there to inform Reynolds' character, police officer Nick Cruz, of his new status when he realizes that he's now a zombie after being killed on duty.' The film is based on the Peter Lenkov comic that centers on a police force comprised of undead officers, also known as "Rest in Peace Department." Reynolds will play Nick Cruz, a recently slain police officer who joins the force and tries to find his own murderer. Jeff Bridges will play Roy, a veteran member of the force.
