Jessica Biel is scared of something lurking in the dark, and hey it's not the paparazzi! In this trailer for the new creeper "The Tall Man," Biel plays a young black-haired mother who moves to a declining mining town, only to discover a serial kidnapper is on the loose. Some of the locals believe it's the evil doings of a child-grabbing boogeyman. But could these abductions really have been committed by a mythical specter, known as "The Tall Man?" A skeptical Biel is not buying it; however, when her young son is found missing she learns first hand that this urban legend is closer to fact than fiction. French horror director Pascal Laugier (Martyrs) makes his English-language debut with the movie, which is slated to open in theaters on August 31st. In an isolated, slowly dying mining town, children are vanishing without a trace -- abducted, the townsfolk whisper, by a mysterious entity known locally as "The Tall Man." Town nurse Julia Denning (Jessica Biel) seems skeptical ... until her young David disappears in the middle of night.
