Christian Bale Meets Shooting Victims & Warner Bros. Donating Funds To Victims
Reported by Outsiders - 09:14 PM 2012.07.24

Christian Bale came in Batman style by being quiet and unnoticeable and without the media knowing when Bale and his wife traveled to the town of Aurora, CO. and spent 2 1/2 hours meeting with seven gunshot victims from the movie theater shooting tragedy. This was not a publicity stunt for Bale and his movie and Warner Bros made it clear that Bale was representing himself, not the movie studio.

“The patients were really happy to meet Bale,” a hospital spokesperson said. “They are obviously big fans of his movies. They wanted to see Batman and were really pleased to see Bale.” “He wanted to meet with victims and police,” the spokesperson said.

There was no fancy lights or cameras for The Dark Knight Rises star except for the photos he took with his fans.

In other news concerning the Aurora, CO. movie theater tragedy. Warner Bros. would not disclose the amount and are not making any official announcement. But they have said they are working with the Colorado Governor’s office and the funds would be donated through givingfirst.org, part of Colorado’s Community First Foundation.
