Life Of Pi - Theatrical Trailer

You would think director Ang Lee has tackled just about every genre in the book, but in his latest directing effort he takes on something totally new: a 3D fantasy-adventure drama titled "Life of Pi." The trailer just arrived online, and it appears the Taiwan-born helmer has created some stunning visuals for a magical fable about survival. Starring first-time actor Suraj Sharma (who won the lead role after a massive month-long open casting call), the film centers on a young Indian boy (Sharma) traveling to America on a cargo ship. However, when the freighter capsizes, the boy is forced to share his lifeboat with a hungry Bengal tiger. Based on author Yann Martel's best-selling novel, the film will be hitting theaters on November 21st. Life Of Pi stars Suraj Sharma, Gerard Depardieu, Irrfan Khan, Tabu Release: November 21, 2012
