JJ Abrams' Star Trek Sequel To Be Called 'Star Trek Into Darkness'

 Deadline has confirmed with Paramount Pictures that the next JJ Abrams' Star Trek sequel will be called, "Star Trek Into Darkness." Paramount has also registered the domains startrekintodarkness.com and startrekintodarknessmovie.com.The sequel is being directed by JJ Abrams from a screenplay written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof. The movie stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller and is set to premiere in theaters on May 17, 2013 in 2D, 3D theaters and IMAX 3D versions.
