J.J. Abrams & Valve Working On 'Half-Life' & 'Portal' Video-Game Films

Reported by Outsiders - 2013.02.07

Star Trek Into Darkness director J.J. Abrams is going to be busy for the next few years as his Bad Robot production company and himself are teaming with game developer Valve on movie adaptations of the popular Half-Life and Portal video-games.

“We’re going to figure out if we can make a Portal movie or Half-Life movie together,” said Valve head Gabe Newell. Abrams also revealed plans to team with Valve separately on a new video game, although development is very early and further details have yet to be announced.
