Film Project Focusing On Lee's Final No-Holds Barred TKO Battle

QED International and Groundswell Productions are looking to focus on the underground fighting match that launched Bruce Lee into being a martial arts legend in the film project, Birth of the Dragon.The project is written by Christopher Wilkinson and Stephen Rivele and focuses on 'Bruce Lee’s career defining 1965 no-holds barred TKO battle with Kung Fu Master Wong Jack Man. Not only did the fight launch Lee onward to Martial Arts stardom but it happened against the backdrop of the Hong Kong criminal Triads control of San Francisco’s Chinatown.' The details surrounding the Oakland fight with Jack Man was the last official fight of Lee’s career as he headed into acting, competition and building his philosophy of martial arts.
