Reported by Outsiders - 2013.03.24

Empire has revealed a special fold-out cover featuring director J.J. Abrams and the cast of Star Trek Into Darkness along with two new exclusive movie images from the May release. According to TrekMovie.com, a new image is revealed if you complete a mission scanning the new cast photo cover of Empire Magazine with the Paramount Star Trek app.

Empire's fold-out cover and images of Kirk, Spock and Uhura on QonoS and Uhura holding a Klingon disruptor.

The new image features Dr. Carol Marcus (Alice Eve), Scotty (Simon Pegg), Dr. McCoy (Karl Urban) and Kirk (Chris Pine). They are all looking up as something is being lowered down. TrekMovie pointed out the item has markings, including "MC-9321" and "PHOT1093" along with a "NO STEP" warning. It is possible this is a Photon torpedo. And on the side can barely make out "CVN-65" which happens to be the designation for the US Navys USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, which was recently inactivated.
