Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters - Trailer

Reported by Outsiders - 10:11 PM 2013.04.01

Although the first Percy Jackson movie didn't exactly make a huge splash in the box office, it did prove that the 2010 fantasy film appealed to the core fan base of author Rick Riordan's popular book series. As Fox preps Percy Jackson's second film adaptation, "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters," the studio has released the film's first trailer online.

This time around, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid " director Thor Freudenthal takes the reins for a story that sees Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) embarking on a new daring adventure. With the little help from his friends, Percy attempts to find a mythical Golden Fleece hidden in the uncharted waters known as the Bermuda Triangle -- which actually harbors some of the world's most evil creatures.

Based on the publishing phenomenon, PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS continues the young demigodís epic journey to fulfill his destiny. To save their world, Percy and his friends must find the fabled and powerfully magic Golden Fleece. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters (known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle), they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil.

Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters stars Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Douglas Smith, Jake Abel, Leven Rambin, Nathan Fillion, Stanley Tucci, Missi Pyle, Anthony Head

Release: August 16th, 2013
