Machete Kills - 'Michelle Rodriguez' Promo Spot

Reported by Outsiders - 2013.07.18

Danny Trejo may be back as everyone's favorite cleaver-carrying Mexican assassin 'Machete', but it's Michelle Rodriguez as the tough-as-nails revolutionist 'She' who gets spotlighted in this new 30-second promo spot for Robert Rodriguez's over-the-top action sequel "Machete Kills." She's a bad-ass Mofo, who likes to trash talk while fist fighting and blasting a few rounds from her machine gun. Yup, it's a typical role that we have seen Michelle Rodriguez do before -- but c'mon, she rocks an eye patch. How cool is that?

Set to open in theaters on September 13th, "Machete Kills" sees Trejo as the ex-Federale agent who escapes a death sentence by accepting a dangerous mission to take down a psychotic arms dealer (played by no other than Mad Max himself, Mel Gibson) with plans of launching a nuclear weapon into space. The cast also includes Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Alexa Vega, Demian Bichir, Antonio Banderas, Charlie Sheen, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Lady Gaga (just to name a few).

The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.

Machete Kills stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Alexa Vega, Mel Gibson, Demian Bichir, Charlie Sheen, Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., William Sadler, Lady Gaga
