Possible Actors To Play Batman For 'Batman Vs. Superman' Movie

Reported by Outsiders - 2013.08.04

Warner Bros. and DC Comics want to keep banking on the popularity of both Batman and Superman with the announcement that these two superheroes would be in the same movie. According to THR, the two iconic heroes will be teaming up for a Man Of Steel sequel aiming for the tone of the relationship and fight seen in Frank Millerís 1980s ground-breaking mini-series The Dark Knight Returns.

Sources are telling THR that the new 'Wayne/Batman will be in the late 30s or around the 40 mark. He will be established and rugged. This new movie will not seek to recount an origin story or the rise of the Dark Knight.' Christian Bale, The Dark Knight trilogy Batman, has said he won't return for another film so the studio has started looking at the following six actors and their ages to play the new role.

Josh Brolin, 46, Ryan Gosling, 32, Joe Manganiello, 36, Richard Armitage, 41, Max Martini, 43 and Matthew Goode, 35.

Henry Cavill will resume the role of Superman.

Casting is likely to solidify in the coming weeks as Warner Bros wants to shoot the movie in early 2014 for a 2015 release but the script is still being written.
