Free Birds - Full-Length Trailer

Reported by Outsiders - 2013.09.26

Thursday's Animation Domination continues with a new Full-Length Trailer for the Thanksgiving-themed animated 3D film "Free Birds," starring the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Amy Poehler as some poultry patriots on a quest to get turkeys off of the Thanksgiving menu for good.

The film follows a lucky turkey named Reggie (Wilson) who gets pardoned by the President and gets to live out his life on a peaceful farm near Camp David. Shortly after his arrival, Reggie meets Jake (Harrelson), a wild turkey who recruits Reg to help him scour a hidden military base containing a time machine that they can use to travel back in time to the first Thanksgiving and somehow wage a war to get turkeys off the menu.

In this hilarious, adventurous buddy comedy for audiences of all ages, directed by Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears a Who!), two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history - and get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good.

Free Birds stars Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, Amy Poehler, Dan Fogler, Lesley Nicol, George Takei, Colm Meaney, Keith David, Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo, Dwight Howard

Release: November 1st, 2013
