Squirrels love nuts. They love those hard-shelled treats so much that they, apparently, are willing to commit grand larceny. And in the upcoming animated heist comedy "The Nut Job," Will Arnett (with his famous deep-toned delivery) voices one such squirrel, Surly, whose nutty appetite urges him to come up with a convoluted plan: break in and raid every corner of Maury's Nut Shop. The job, however, will require a devoted crew, which includes a couple of portly squirrels and one skinny rat -- Ocean's Eleven, this is not.
Surly, a curmudgeon, independent squirrel is banished from his park and forced to survive in the city. Lucky for him, he stumbles on the one thing that may be able to save his life, and the rest of park community, as they gear up for winter -- Maury's Nut Store.
The Nut Job stars the voices of Will Arnett, Brendan Fraser, Liam Neeson, Katherine Heigl, Stephen Lang, Sarah Gadon, Jeff Dunham
