The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug - 3rd TV Spot

Reported by Outsiders - 10:53 AM 2013.10.11

The third TV Spot is now available online for Peter Jackson's second chapter of his Tolkien trilogy "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." This latest 30-second spot aired during last night's premiere of ABC's new fantasy series "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland." And although the commercial doesn't contain much as far as new footage goes, it does, however, have a supply of new audio: For instance, Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellan) warns that "Our Enemy Is Preparing For War." Take a look, above.

The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellan) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug stars Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Stephen Fry, Stephen Hunter, Bret McKenzie, Graham McTavish, James Nesbitt, Lee Pace, Evangeline Lilly, Orlando Bloom

Release: December 13th, 2013
