If allowed to count toy characters, "The LEGO Movie" is easily the most star-studded feature in cinematic history. Where else will you find Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman rubbing elbows with a ninja turtle, a blue space man, and a chair-flying Abraham Lincoln? And where else will you find Chris Pratt voicing an ordinary LEGO construction worker named Emmet who (like Neo from The Matrix) must fulfill his destiny and save his "awesome" LEGO world from the evil clutches of President Business (voiced by Will Ferrell).
Check out the just-released full-length trailer for this animated comedy, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), which also features voices from Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett as a pun-spewing Batman.
The first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO adventure: The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
The LEGO Movie stars the voices of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie
