Universal, Paramount, DreamWorks & Disney Shifting Movie Dates Around

The studios are looking to rumble as Universal, Paramount, DreamWorks and Disney are moving their upcoming future releases to take on each other. Let's get it on! The first announced move comes from Universal Pictures and Focus Features' as they are pushing their huge release of Fifty Shades Of Grey back February 13th, 2015. This is a drop back from it's original scheduled date of August 1st, 2014. The James Brown biopic Get On Up has slide on up into the August 1st, 2014 from the October 17th, 2014. Their last move comes from Dracula Untold which slides down to October 17th from October 3rd, 2014.
Paramount shot back by announcing that Mission: Impossible 5 will be hitting theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2015. The fifth installment is being directed by Christopher McQuarrie from a script by Drew Pearce. Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams will produce and will go up against Ben Affleck’s Live By Night and DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 3, which arrives on December 23rd. The big surprise is that Paramount and DreamWorks Animation must not be afraid of that new movie coming out a week prior from Disney and is being directed by J.J. Abrams. Yea, it's called Star Wars: Episode VII.
