With a new title for certain international markets ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro"), comes an all-new alternate trailer to "sparkle" up some additional fanfare for director Marc Webb's second chapter of his comic book franchise featuring everyone's favorite webslinger. Back in tights is Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker who's now getting used to saving the world from normal baddies, while keeping his relationship with girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).
But a new villain arises from the dark named Electro (played by Jamie Foxx) who is gifted with extraordinary electrical powers that will push Spidey to his very limits. Also putting a strain on poor ol' Peter is his old friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) who, shortly after becoming the successor of the OsCorp corporation, turns himself into a mysterious new foe that is clearly green with envy.
It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, Sally Field, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore
