The Companies & Their Spots During Super Bowl 2014
Reported by Outsiders - 2013.12.14
Deadline ran an article about how this year the Super Bowl XLVIII national commercial space is selling for upward of $4 million per 30-second spot. Within the article, it mentioned past spots that ran for companies and the movies they were promoting and listed what possible new spots we should see during the game.
Disney bought one 30-second spot and said it has not yet decided which movie to advertise. One possibility is the Aaron Paul-starring Need for Speed, based on the highly successful racing video game franchise.
Paramount bought one 30-second spot and will use it to debut the first footage from its highly anticipated Megatron sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Sony will use the Super Bowl to advertise its rebooted superhero franchise installment The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Warner Bros. made no buy.
Lionsgate bought a spot in the Super Bowl pregame show — but no word on what it will advertise as yet.
