Prepare to see a lot of Kevin Costner in 2014. The veteran actor, who quietly made a small comeback with 2012's western miniseries "Hatfields and McCoys" and last summer's superhero blockbuster "Man of Steel," has lined up a slate of new movies for next year.
And now, we're getting the first look at "Draft Day," an Ivan Reitman-directed football drama, which will be Costner's third film to be released in 2014, following "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" and "3 Days to Kill." Surprisingly, all three films will be out in the first four months of the new year as "Draft Day" is slated to hit theaters April 11th.
Set on the day of the football draft -- one of the most intense sport business periods of the year, Costner stars as Sonny Weaver, the general manager of the Cleveland Browns. The decisions Sonny makes through the course of the day will forever change his life, both personal and professional.
Co-starring Jennifer Garner, Denis Leary, Frank Langella, Ellen Burstyn and Tom Welling, "Draft Day" marks a rare dramatic turn for director Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Twins) who's working with a script (written by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman) that took the number one spot on 2012's Black List of Hollywood's best unproduced screenplays.
