New BTS Image From 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' & 'Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes'

Reported by Outsiders - 2013.12.31

Empire has released a new behind-the-scenes image from the new issue of Empire showing off the principal cast, and director Bryan Singer of X-Men: Days Of Future Past in their 70's look. They also have a new image of Andy Serkis in his role as Caesar in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes wearing the motion-suit during filming.

In the film, present-day Professor X (Patrick Stewart) is somehow back from the dead, and senses a great disturbance ahead for all mutant kind. The ominous premonition leaves him to entrust Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) with a mission to go back into their past and convince his younger self (played by James McAvoy) to stop a major historical event from happening in order to save their future. The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Lucas Till.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently scheduled to open in theaters on May 23rd, 2014.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES hits theaters everywhere on July 11th, 2014.
