Robocop (2014) - Three New TV Spots

Reported by Outsiders - 08:48 PM 2014.01.07

A couple of TV spots for the upcoming "RoboCop" remake have hit the web, featuring some new footage of The Killing's Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy, the critically-wounded police officer who becomes a walking-talking cybernetic prototype for America's future of law enforcement. He takes filthy lawbreakers down without blinking a red-glowing eye. He patrols the streets in a cool futuristic motorcycle. He snaps the necks of rival robots. And when it comes down to brass tacks, "dead or alive" you'll be coming with him -- that's for dang sure.

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years -- and itís meant billions for OmniCorpís bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) -- a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit Ė is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice.

Robocop stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Jennifer Ehle, Jay Baruchel, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Samuel L. Jackson

Release: February 12th, 2014
