Sony Wanting Seth Gordon To Helm 'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune'
Reported by Outsiders - 09:13 PM 2014.02.04

Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures Entertainment is in talks with Seth Gordon to direct the live-action adaptation of the top-selling PlayStation vidgame series Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

The most recent script has been done by scribe David Guggenheim and the studio loved the script so much they already have him writing the script for Bad Boys 3.

The next step for Sony would be to see who would play the role of Nathan Drake, the treasure and antiquities hunter and descendant of the famed explorer Sir Francis Drake. With a female journalist and his mentor by his side, Drake attempts to find the lost treasure of El Dorado. Sony has long coveted the project for its tentpole potential as a big-time adventure film and want to get it into production sometime this year.
