Jesse Eisenberg has curved out a career playing introverted dweebs, but he's now getting a chance to show off his dark, shadowy side in the slow-burning suspense thriller "Night Moves." "The Social Network" star plays a shifty-eyed environmentalist who teams up with two fellow radicals (Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard) to blow up a large hydropower dam in Oregon. In the film's new domestic trailer, we see those dastardly plans unfolding, but also coming undone as their confidence to complete the mission is injected with a dose of suspicion and skepticism.
The film follows three clandestine activists scheming to blow up a dam -- and the ways their lives unravel in the aftermath. Josh (Jesse Eisenberg), Dena (Dakota Fanning), and Harmon (Peter Sarsgaard) are meant to perform their act of eco-terror and then go their separate ways. But when the full results of their actions come to light, a clean getaway may prove more elusive than they'd anticipated.
