Godzilla - New Japanese Trailer And IMAX Poster

Reported by Outsiders - 2014.04.25

Well, you can't really promote a modern-day, English-language remake of "Godzilla" without the obligatory Japanese trailer -- so, here ya go!

The new international trailer is very similar to previously-released clips as it weighs heavy on conflicting emotions and mounting tensions, rather than focusing on the lizard monster itself. Though there's a dramatic shot of Godzilla's lower body, including its massive foot that stomps down on what appears to be the tarmac of an airport runway. Other than that, expect more puzzled looks from Ken Watanabe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen. While Bryan Cranston offers an impressive jaw-dropping facial expression.

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Godzilla stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Victor Rasuk

Release: May 16th, 2014
