X-Men: Days Of Future Past - Easter Egg Scene From 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Reported by Outsiders - 08:02 PM 2014.05.05

In a rare cross promotion, moviegoers who stayed through the end credits of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" got a look at a new scene from that other hotly-anticipated comic book sequel, "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

The roughly 60-second clip showed off the acrobatic fighting-style of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique as the blue-skinned villainess disguises herself as a ranking military officer in order to free a couple of mutant bad guys -- namely, Havoc (Lucas Till) and Toad (Evan Jonigkeit) -- from a heavily-guarded military base. In case you missed it this past weekend, that action sequence has been posted online (via IGN). So, have a look, above.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original "X-Men" film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from "X-Men: First Class," in an epic battle that must change the past -- to save our future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Lucas Till, Omar Sy, Evan Peters

Release: May 23rd, 2014
